nQuire updates suite, adds product

nQuire has released Version 3.0 of it software suite, which includes nQuire Answers and nQuire Server, and introduces a new product, nQuire Delivers. The company reports its new offering incorporates intelligence Bots, or “iBots,” which are software-based agents that when driven by schedule or event can access, filter and perform analytics on data based upon defined criteria.

The company explains iBots work in conjunction with its server to provide actionable intelligence from data spanning operational and analytical sources. When they detect an event, nQuire says, iBots can determine the appropriate individual(s) to notify and deliver information to that person via a wide range of devices (including e-mail, pager, PDA, RIM and US and European mobile phones, etc.).

In Answers 3.0, nQuire offers a voice interface option, providing the ability to get answers and intelligence from corporate data via the spoken word through any phone. The new release can also be integrated with wireless Web devices.

The 3.0 release of nQuire Server includes built-in support for new types of analytics, including dynamic characteristic and fact-based segmentation and clustering, multi-request set-based analytic operations and cross-dimensional metrics. Server 3.0 will be made available in two editions: data warehouse and real-time.

The new software will be available later this quarter.
