Xionics Chairman Resigns
Xionics (Burlington, MA) has announced the resignation of Robert Gilkes as chairman of the company's board of directors. Gilkes has served as director since November 1994 and chairman of the board since April 1996. Gilkes was president and CEO of Xionics from January 1995 until April 1997, and CEO until October 1997. He will continue as a consultant to Xionics' board through the company's 1999 fiscal year. Paul Low, a director since October 1995, has assumed Gilkes' position.
