XPDS and Optika sign integration and marketing agreement

Xerox Professional Document Services (XPDS, McLean, VA, http://www.xpds.com

) has signed an agreement to integrate Optika Imaging Systems' (Colorado Springs, CO, http://www.optika.com) FilePower imaging, workflow and COLD product suite into its consulting practices. XPDS will also resell the FilePower suite to Fortune 500 and other companies nationwide. This agreement "will allow users in many market sectors to benefit from more efficient and effective enterprise-wide document management solutions," said XPDS VP and GM David Connor. Echoed Optika president, chairman and CEO Mark Ruport: "The results will be increased efficiency, more effective use of document-based information, and improved customer satisfaction."
