Workplace System Solutions unveils engineering information tool

) has unveiled an information management solution that connects users to a company's engineering information management database via the Internet, intranet or extranet. The ActiveAsset Inquirer is a module in Workplace's suite of ActiveAsset tools that provides access to document, engineering and corporate asset data across the enterprise. The solution makes it easy for organizations "to share information with remote offices, clients, contractors and internal users who need only occasional access to engineering-related information," according to WorkPlace president George Church. ActiveAsset Inquirer is scheduled to be available in the fourth quarter of this year.
