Knowledge Anywhere, which concentrates on providing Web-based learning systems to corporations, has unveiled The Learning Companion, a combination of small-system supported content and performance technology built specifically for deployment over Pocket PCs and Pocket PC phones.

The company claims that in response to client requests for Web-based tools that move knowledge beyond the desk, it developed The Learning Companion as an adjacent link to existing online corporate training resources. Using Microsoft Windows Media Player for Pocket PC, Knowledge Anywhere can replicate traditional PC-resident learning and deliver it via streamed wireless audio and video to a portable Pocket PC or Pocket PC phone.
