WhetStone Technologies (Park City, UT, http://www.viewwise.com
) announced the next generation of its production imaging software.
ViewWise (formerly OPEN/image for NetWare) provides support for 32-bit environments and ODMA. In addition to supporting NetWare, HP/UX, Sun Solaris and IBM AIX, the out-of-box production imaging software now includes production OCR capabilities, forms recognition COLD and CD-R storage.
WhetStone has partnered with several leading vendors including the new Eastman Software (Billerica, MA, http://www.eastmansoftware.com), Novell (Park City, UT, http://www.novell.com), and Xerox (Rochester, NY, http://www.xerox.com).
