Action Technologies has released TeamWorks, a suite of Web-based collaboration and administrative tools for managing work in team environments.

The company reports TeamWorks supports knowledge workers by enabling them to negotiate which work is to be done when and by whom, and then to assess whether the work has been completed as agreed. Action Technologies explains the software allows managers to start new team efforts from templates, structure work items with complex interdependencies, work in Gantt charts (project planning charts) and create a package of work for a single individual or for many people.

Action Technologies is best known for business process management software, which the company claims reduces the time and cost of decision-driven processes by as much as 60%.
