Westbrook Technologies and Elektroson Sign Agreement
Westbrook Technologies (Branford, CT) and Elektroson (Campbell, CA) have agreed to integrate Elektroson's GEAR.wrks CD-R software development kit with Westbrook's File Magic Plus and Fortis CDExpress software suites. The combination will allow File Magic users to pre-master and record document management databases onto CD-ROMs. "We identified Elektroson as the top provider of CD-R technology," said Westbrook president and CEO Sean Donegan. "This agreement demonstrates our belief in their leadership role." File Magic CDExpress will be available later this month; Fortis CDExpress will be released in Q1 '98.
