Web-based DAM

ClearStory Systems has launched ActiveMedia 6.0, what is claimed to be the only pure J2EE digital asset management (DAM) software application currently available on the market.

ActiveMedia 6.0 offers an n-tier J2EE design that supports the scalability requirements of modern DAM implementations. ClearStory further says that its Web-based user interface offers rich functionality to support global marketing implementations that require the management and consumption of content by teams around the world.

The company adds that enhanced features include a powerful metadata engine, a robust asset-level security model and uncompromised functionality for managing complex video, multimedia graphics, compound documents and other rich media.
