Visualize procurement costs

Antarctica Systems, a developer of visualization software, and ePlus, a provider of enterprise cost management solutions, have created a series of software products designed to give corporations better visibility into their procurement costs and clearly identify opportunities to reduce those expenses.

The companies say, for example, customers using the combined solution can identify opportunities, consolidate purchases within suppliers, reduce costs where buyers are realizing lower than contracted prices and decrease off-contract purchases.

The new software products are based on Antarctica's VisualNet software, a map-based information visualization tool. Antarctica was founded in 1999 by XML co-creator Tim Bray.
