Verity posts Q4 figures

) reports Q4 '97 revenue of $11.1 million, an 11% increase from $10.0 million in Q2 '96. The increased revenue is largely attributable to software sales of $8.8 million in Q4 '97, up from $8.3 million in Q4 '96. A net loss of $6.0 million in Q4 '97 compares with a net income of $350,000 in Q4 '96. Through the recent acquisition of Cognisoft, 64K and Keyview Technology, Verity spent $4.9 million on in-process research and development.
