Verity for medical claims

Verity has released MediClaim 9.0, the latest version of its medical claims processing/ content capture solution. MediClaim is designed to automate processing forms and documents while improving medical claims' throughput and productivity rates, says Verity.

The new release, claims the company, allows the software to be distributed more efficiently across the enterprise, integrating with enterprise-level business applications more easily, securely, reliably and with better alphanumeric and image-recognition performance.

Verity reports that key improvements include:

• integration with Microsoft SQL Server,

• support of Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications,

• significant security enhancements,

• lower total cost of ownership,

• services-based implementation,

• improved recognition accuracy and throughput, and

• a 50% reduction in the number of required operators over the previous version.
