Updates to Nuxeo Studio

Open source enterprise content management (ECM) company Nuxeo has updated its Nuxeo Studio hosted configuration and customization environment with new design features for content automation.

The company reports that by using Nuxeo Studio, information architects and systems integrators can visually design rules into their ECM systems that enable rich content applications to meet a wide range of vertical or horizontal business needs. It adds that the challenges of deploying an ECM system that aligns content with business processes is addressed with Nuxeo's open source ECM platform and value-added services. Companies can better manage changing business requirements and solve complex business problems.

Nuxeo Studio, available to Nuxeo’s Connect – Developer subscribers, is a Web-based administrative service for Nuxeo Enterprise Platform (Nuxeo EP) and packaged applications such as Nuxeo Document Management (Nuxeo DM).

The company further claims Nuxeo Studio enables information architects and business analysts to fully configure both Nuxeo EP and Nuxeo DM to adapt to their organization's unique requirements, reducing the implementation of ECM applications by weeks or months.
