Union Bank automates timecard data collection

Union Bank of California, with $31B in assets and hundreds of branch offices, has automated the way it collects employee timecard data, both those which originate in paper form and those filled out electronically on the company's intranet.

UBC is using Cardiff's Teleform to capture the timecard data and populate databases in its corporate development center. A FileNet Panagon system manages the form images.

The bank expects the system to significantly reduce manual data entry costs and boost the speed and accuracy of data collection
