Ultimus, a well respected Web-based workflow automation software provider, has partnered with Hummingbird in a deal designed to integrate the strengths of business process and document management.

Hummingbird calls its DM a powerful enterprise-ready document management platform that facilitates the capture, sharing and protection of corporate content resources. By tightly integrating with the Ultimus Workflow Suite business process management platform, organizations can now attach, view and update documents from Hummingbird repositories within Ultimus workflows, the two companies say.

As a result of the collaboration, Ultimus claims users can benefit from out-of-the-box Hummingbird interoperability. The Ultimus-Hummingbird Integration Kit is available at no charge to licensed Ultimus customers and can be downloaded at http://www.ultimussupport.com
