U.S. Department of Commerce Selects Siemens Electrocom

Siemens Electrocom (Arlington, TX) has been selected to provide document management and publishing solutions to the U.S. Department of Commerce. Siemens Electrocom's Intelliscan will be used by the Department of Commerce's National Technical Information Service (NTIS) to support its "convert-and-publish-on-demand" program, which converts its inventory of several million documents into electronic form. The Intelliscan 240 scanner will be used with a Xerox (Rochester, NY) DocuTech 6315 on-demand publishing system to full customer orders for the organization's documents.
