Trio's software integration to make paper Web-ready

Documentum, (Pleasanton, CA, http://www.documentum.com), and
Cornerstone (San Jose, http://www.corimage.com) have announced an integrated solution for managing corporate documents across a network. The combination will automate the process of exporting paper documents to a Web-accessible document management system.

Cornerstone's InputAccel will handle document conversion. Acrobat Capture 2.0 (available in May) converts documents into PDF format in which they become Web-ready while maintaining the elements of the original page. A special InputAccel-compatible module allows Acrobat to be plugged into InputAccel without programming. Once documents are converted to PDF, an InputAccel module exports the documents to Documentum EDMS where they are automatically indexed.
