Tower blends Cardiff capture technology in IDM

Tower Technology, Inc. has announced a reseller agreement with Cardiff Software, Inc. to provide customers with a high-volume automated data capture and document management solution. The new integrated solution, named Tower IDM Forms, will be an optional component of Tower's IDM document management product.

Tower IDM Forms will be developed using Cardiff Software's TELEform Elite Enterprise Edition for high volume data collection. The integration of these two products will automate the manual data entry process for hand-printed information from paper-based forms, then streamline how that information is made available throughout an organization.

Combining data capture and data collection with integrated document management provides customers with a competitive advantage for applications such as enterprise-wide customer service. Data within forms can be automatically scanned, extracted and processed, and the image of each form can be electronically indexed and placed within the customer folder for enterprise-wide accessibility.
