Toward global Web sites

FatWire and GlobalSight have formed an alliance designed to allow joint customers to automate their Web and globalization processes.

The agreement will allow GlobalSight’s globalization management system, GlobalSight System3, to integrate with FatWire’s UpdateEngine5 content management software for managment of solution for managing global e-business content. The companies report that GlobalSight System3 will acquire content from FatWire’s UpdateEngine to be sent through a workflow process for complete localization and translation.

UpdateEngine is a e-business assembly system that allows users to build and manage scalable, flexible Web sites. GlobalSight offers infrastructure software and strategy required to develop and maintain multilingual, multicultural Web sites.
