Three Firms Merge to Create HumanSoft

A new information systems software provider for healthcare and human services organizations has been formed, through the merger of Public Health Software Systems and two Intelligent Systems Corporation (ISC, Norcross, GA) subsidiaries. HumanSoft (Norcross, GA) will provide information systems software and services to local, state and federal public health organizations as well as other government organizations, hospitals, and clinics nationwide. Neal McEwen, former executive with former ISC subsidiary Peachtree Software (Norcross, GA), is HumanSoft's new president and CEO. "The success of Public Health Software's Acclaim product line over the past few years and the fragmented nature of the public health software market convinced us that the consolidation of several small leading companies would be a sound growth strategy for this subsidiary," said J. Leland Strange, ISC's President and CEO.
