The central, er, information nervous system

Entrieva reports it has inked a deal with Nervana to provide a core component of what will become the Nervana Information Nervous System. Nervana explains it chose Entrieva's technology acquired from Semio as a core component because of its own deep technology in semiotic linguistic analysis.

Nervana claims its Information Nervous System, a suite consisting of knowledge serves and a user interface, will give users the ability to retrieve, explore, organize and share information based upon personal context and time sensitivity. The company adds that the new systems will employ semantic intelligence with a new user interface providing users with a simple way to get the relevant information they need on a just-in-time basis all from one place on their desktops.

Nervana will initially focus on the pharmaceutical and life sciences market, and later expand into all major market segments.
