Ten X Reveals New TenXpert Models

Four new models of its TenXpert network CD-ROM storage system have been unveiled by Ten X Technology (Austin, TX). The TenXpert 2/10p and 2/15p come with a 2 GB hard disk cache and server, and can handle either 10 or 15 CDs on-line. Both can be upgraded to the TenXpert-2/30p system. The TenXpert 2/11r and 2/16r come with an integral recorder and authoring software, and are upgradable to Ten X's 26-CD TenXpert 2/26r. All come with the TenXpert-2 network CD-ROM server, and connect to an Ethernet hub or coax. The 2/10p and 2/15p sell for $3,695 and $3,995, and the 2/11r and 2/16r sell for $5,895 and $6,445.
