Telecom company extends BI beyond the corporate wall

Business Objects has announced a $3.3 million contract with Telecom Italia. TI, a customer of Business Objects tools since 1995, but the latest announcement marks the company’s addition of WebIntelligence--Business Object’s Internet decision support tool.

By extending business intelligence tools beyond the corporate wall, TI will now have 15,000 users leveraging it.
