Technology Resource Centers Digitizes DoD Files

For its first major contract, Technology Resource Centers (Limerick, PA) a new business unit of Scangraphics, has signed on with the Department of Defense to convert documents from hard copy media to digital files. Under the agreement, valued in excess of $160,000, TRC will be a subcontractor for Concurrent Technologies (CTC), a Johnstown, Pa.-based not-for-profit technology developer. All told, the contract is worth approximately $300,000. The deal is part of the DoD's ADCS program for converting engineering drawings and documents into digital electronic files. "We are confident that this is the first of many contracts that will be forthcoming to TRC," said Scangraphics president and CEO Laurence Osterwise.
