TeamWare Unveils Office Version 5.0

(Santa Clara, CA) has unveiled Version 5.0 of its TeamWare Office intranet groupware environment. The new version offers wireless capabilities for support of mobile workers, and a Site Connector for enhanced distributed enterprise support functionality. Also new to this version are enhanced Internet support of the product's Calendar function, and a TeamWARE Forum for bulletin boards and discussion groups. The new release will help "enterprises and mobile workers to share and manage information efficiently," said Juha Snellman, VP of TeamWare Group. TeamWare Office Version 5.0 server supports Windows NT and Sun Solaris, and Windows 95, 3.11, NT 3.51 and NT 4.0 on the client side. The product will be available next month.
