TEMIS unveils Luxid Content Enrichment Platform 7.1

TEMIS has released a new version of its semantic content enrichment platform. Luxid 7.1 extends its ontology management features, includes a complete design workflow for content recommendation engines and continues to refine the user experience based on integrated workflows that simplify and accelerate user tasks, according to TEMIS. Luxid 7.1 now supports the ontology design stage. Users can create classes and subclasses, as well as class attributes and relationships directly from the Luxid Webstudio Web application, enabling them to use a single tool rather than several for their entire projects. Webstudio also includes standardized project templates that simplify the setup of recurring projects so users can get started in a matter of minutes and benefit from added-value features.

Further, says TEMIS, Webstudio provides a convenient workspace that enables users to upload their corpus, set up enrichment workflows producing rich semantic fingerprints, preview content recommendations and adjust their recommendation strategy, all from the same interface. The company says that by combining the right Skill Cartridges in their recommendation workflow and adjusting a variety of boost, exclusion and threshold parameters, users can successfully focus recommendations on any dimension of their subject matter and reach highly relevant results. Once they are satisfied with their content recommendation engine, a single click is necessary to publish it to production, making it available to any CMS, portal or website as a REST API.

TEMIS explains Webstudio's interface continues to evolve to minimize the effort required to coordinate workflows and resources involved in semantic enrichment projects. Additionally, with dedicated tabs, panels and filters, Webstudio also enables users to quickly navigate between and focus on specific areas of their ontology, corpus, individual documents and extraction results. Meanwhile, complex configuration settings stay out of the way in dedicated menus. With easy access to online documentation from any point in the application, as well as an internationalized interface, it further supports multinational deployments and multilingual projects, according to the company.
