Sync content between SharePoint 2007, 2010 and 2013

Metalogix has released Replicator 6.1, which is said to be the first product with the ability to sync SharePoint content between SharePoint 2007, 2010 and 2013 deployments.

Metalogix Replicator 6.1 allows organizations with multiple SharePoint farms to keep contents synchronized and up-to-date for all users, regardless of location or SharePoint version, explains the company. Further, Metalogix says, synchronizing content delivers remote users the same speed and performance as at headquarters, even across poor networks. It allows organizations to share select content between departments or with customers and partners. By replicating content across multiple farms, Replicator prevents downtimes during power, system or network failures and planned outages such as software or hardware refreshes.

The release of Metalogix Replicator 6.1 features several enhancements including Nintex Workflow 2013 support, which allows for the replication of Nintex Workflows between dispersed SharePoint environments. Additionally, the product has significant performance enhancements that reduce the time it takes to replicate content between large sites. Metalogix adds that the configuration for Replicator has been simplified with the ability to enable Web apps directly from the user interface as well as a new quick start install guide for new customers.
