Solcom Unveils Product Suite
Solcom (Sioux Falls, SD) née TransMed Imaging has unveiled a product suite of document imaging, COLD, workflow and object capture products targeted at the healthcare and insurance vertical markets. The Solcom product suite includes the next generation of the company's Multimanager, Multimanager for Patient Records and Multiviewer products, and adds independent workflow and Internet browser products calledMultiflow, and Multinet. Multimanager Version 4.1 features new support for IBM's ImagePlus and VisualInfo, drag-and-drop object capture and Jet Forms integration. Multimanager for Patient Records offers the same features as Multimanager, and adds deficiency processing with electronic signature, release of information and the SolCom Electronic Patient Record system, as well as the ability to view, store and manage DICOM images. Multiflow offers full-functioned, self-contained workflow product to automate work processes for AS/400 users. Multinet adds browser and thin-client capabilities for accessing the system through a company's intranet. The addition of independent workflow and browser technology means that users "can efficiently and cost effectively manage all their knowledge from virtually anywhere," says Solcom president Marv Addink. Multimanager Version 4.1 will be available in May; the complete suite will be available by the end of August.
