Smart Solutions forms U.S. Subsidiary

Israeli PDM systems manufacturer Smart Solutions has officially incorporated in the U.S. as SmarTeam (Peabody, MA). Smart Solutions first shipped its PDM and workflow products in March 1997, and opened a U.S. office in July. The company is now actively looking to recruit and train VARs in North America for its SmarTeam line of technical and product data management (TDM/PDM) products. The time is right to penetrate the North American market, according to SmarTeam CEO Avinoam Nowogrodski. "The North American market is especially ripe for a PDM solution that can be applied from the bottom up, and show a rapid return on investment." SmarTeam has more than 300 customers and has sold over 2000 software licenses worldwide.
