SkillView’s newest offering in ASP model

The latest version of SkillView's skills management software, Enterprise 4.0, is available both over the Internet and as a corporate network client-server application. The company explains Enterprise is a skills assessment and inventory application that allows senior management to build a more productive work force, make informed decisions to improve employee development programs and maximize return on labor investments.

Version 4.0's Web enhancements include complete implementation of 360-degree (multi-rater) assessments that include the ability to assign assessments and define “rater-ratee” relationships. SkillView adds that users can customize more reports and extend sort and filter functions to items such as employee type, job title, department, skill, skill family, learning event and learning event family. The Web version also offers complete administrative support and allows digital certificates to permit authenticated connections without ID and password dialogs.

Version 4.0’s database enhancements include design elements that link data between SkillView Enterprise and other systems to facilitate data exchanges. The new version also offers specific provisions to integrate SkillView Enterprise with learning management platforms from its strategic partners, IntraLearn and LearnFrame.
