Sitecore premieres Sitecore Commerce

Sitecore has launched what it calls an “early access” program for Sitecore Commerce, which it says is the first enterprise-class .NET customer experience management solution with fully integrated commerce functionality. The company claims Sitecore Commerce will help facilitate marketers and merchandisers to deliver personalized and relevant digital shopping experiences from initial customer acquisition through online transaction using a single, connected platform.

Sitecore further claims last year’s asset acquisition of commerceserver.net helped further forge its strategy to blend real-time digital marketing with robust enterprise commerce to create high-value, long-term brand experiences for customers. Sitecore is also working closely with Microsoft Dynamics AX to develop an omnichannel commerce geared toward helping retailers bridge the gap between in-store and digital experiences.
