Simplified communities of practice

Tomoye says its flagship product, Simplify, is a turnkey collaboration solution that addresses the needs of Communities of Practice. The latest version, 2.1, allows participants to collaborate, communicate, publish experiences and best practices, discuss areas of interest, find each other, coordinate activities and keep track of what is going on in their areas of interest.

Tomoye further says Simplify 2.1 allows organizations to rapidly expand their intranets, inter-organizational networks, research networks and extranets for finding and sharing best practices, stewarding knowledge and increasing member productivity.

Integrating knowledge management functionality with Web groupware, personalized portals and content management, the software is said to provide a comprehensive platform that maximizes the community's value and impact.
