Signed, sealed and delivered

Saperion has announced an agreement to integrate Authentidate’s signature technology into its enterprise archiving software.

The companies say the agreement makes the preparation and verification of qualified time stamps in accordance with the German Signature Law a centralized and fully automatic part of Saperion’s workflow and archiving processes.

The Saperion DocFlow module allows the generation and visual representation of typical business transactions. Prepared or changed documents are given a legally secure time stamp with AuthentiDate's technology at defined points within the workflow, in compliance with the German Signature Law.

With the integration of the AuthentiDate signature solution in the Saperion software, Saperion customers may now easily use legally secure data in compliance with the law for archiving and workflow without having to pay for costly and time-consuming installations. Consequently, customers do not have to make large initial investments in additional hardware such as smart cards or card reading devices.
