Sharing Technologies launches Papirus 2.0

Claiming its new release provides significant enhancement to Notes/Domino, Sharing Technologies reports Papirus Version 2.0 enables knowledge workers to share anything (reports, CAD/CAM drawings, graphics, photos, spreadsheets, geographic drawings, etc.) within that environment.

The company goes on to say its new software reduces—and possibly eliminates—file attachments with universal, secure and optimized "knowledge packages." Once information is in Papirus, it can be shared and updated. The information can be cut, pasted and reused.

The company cites other benefits, as well:

  • Information is shared in central repositories.

  • File download is eliminated because the software provides instant access for the user (online/offline, intranet/extranet).

  • Control over information is enhanced.
