ASG Software Solutions has launched Total Content Integrator (TCI) for SharePoint, which has been developed to offer integration capabilities by associating SharePoint content with that in other business applications. ASG further reports TCI enables enterprise-class storage and archiving, and improved information governance and compliance, while incorporating enhanced business process controls. ASG-TCI for SharePoint is engineered to: integrate SharePoint environments with multiple department-level SharePoint deployments and with content repositories for other business applications, such as finance/accounting, customer relationship management, warehouse management, records management, etc.; grant SharePoint users access to employee- and application-generated content throughout the enterprise via the familiar SharePoint user interface; and give IT the ability to store and archive SharePoint documents for long-term retention, including binary large objects (BLOB), to improve SharePoint scalability and performance.
