SharePoint compliance from Summit 7

Summit 7 Systems has introduced its SharePoint Compliance QuickStart solution, which combines Summit 7 Systems’ methodology and AvePoint’s Compliance Guardian software to align business and compliance needs for their customers. Summit 7 reports its new offer enables organizations to implement a robust risk management framework that supports accessibility, operational security, privacy and site quality.

The company further explains Compliance QuickStart is for advanced compliance configuration management and continuous adherence with regulatory standards such as Payment Card Industry (PCI), the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) within Microsoft SharePoint technologies.

Summit 7 adds the Compliance QuickStart solution will evaluate administrative and technical controls, extend and enable compliance management and implement a systematic health check to confirm compliance on a regular basis.
