Setting sights on the rising sun and beyond

With eyes keenly focused on Far East markets, Inxight has developed four Asian language versions of its LinguistX Platform 3.1 and Summarizer 3.0 SDK information and content analysis software. Japanese, Korean, Traditional and Simplified Chinese will be available as plug-in modules for both products. Inxight also supports Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian (Bokmal), Norwegian (Nynorsk), Spanish and Swedish.

LinguistX Platform is used to analyze large text repositories such as the Web, news archives, e-mail and document libraries. Summarizer SDK creates abstracts of online documents and customizes content into a summary size that is most relevant to a user's needs.

LinguistX is the foundation product in which other linguistic and proprietary software resides. With LinguistX 3.1, developers and information providers can identify root word forms in context, parts of speech and multi-word concepts. This, in turn, allows customers to build applications for full-text searches, electronic publishing, e-mail routing and response, as well as other knowledge-based solutions.

LinguistX Platform 3.1 and Summarizer 3.0 SDK now offer a single application program interface (API) for all 16-language versions. The API allows use with most operating systems and platforms for multiple language integration and provides developers with a way to create application programs more efficiently. LinguistX Platform 3.1 and Summarizer 3.0 SDK also have features that identifies the language so the user doesn’t have to.
