Integrated Digital Systems/Scan America has released Edge Web Link, which is designed to provide secure access to records, files and information accessible and affordable for small businesses. Edge Web Link stores and manages not only scanned files and documents but also all Microsoft Office documents, photo and image types as well as e-mail and attachments and Adobe products formats.

The company describes Edge Web Link as a secure Web browser-accessible server application that is linked directly with IDS Edge2004, which grants users secure access to add, store, retrieve, e-mail and share documents, images, files, and e-mail stored in Edge2004 over the Internet, intranet, WAN and VPN connections. Further, the company says, Edge2004 meets or exceeds the HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley Act, Privacy Act, 28 CFR and SEC rules for managing information.
