Search meets content integration

In a move designed to combine the benefits of enterprise search technology with enterprise content integration capabilities, Verity and Venetica have formed a partnership.

As part of the deal, Venetica announced general availability of the Content Bridge for the Verity K2 intellectual capital management solution. The companies say this offering will allow applications using Venetica’s VeniceBridge ECI platform to leverage any enterprise content that has been indexed with Verity, including content stored in file systems and intranets.

Venetica says using its enterprise content integration capabilities, authorized users can leverage a real-time, virtual view of enterprise content from their VeniceBridge-enabled application. They can act on and work directly with content, make changes or update it, and then save it back to the system of record where it was stored
