Saba acquires HTP

Saba has purchased Human Performance Technologies (HTP) in a move it expects will strengthen its position in the human capital development and management market.

Saba reports that the addition of HTP’s performance management technology and services will allow enterprises to identify exemplary performance across the extended organization of customers, partners, employees and suppliers; capture the transferable elements of this expertise; and optimize performance.

The HPT Peak Performance System will be integrated into Saba Performance to allow companies to promote, enable and sustain individual and business performance that directly supports the achievement of business objectives.

Further, says Saba, its services division will be expanded to provide offerings that address an organization's performance needs including the selection and assignment of employees; training and documentation; employee motivation and incentives; and the redesign of jobs, work processes and work environments.
