Reporting its new product improves customer satisfaction and increases retention, Authoria introduces AnswerWise, an application that delivers dynamically generated, personalized information on demand via the Web or through call centers 24 hours a day.

Authoria explains AnswerWise offers a comprehensive, healthcare-specific content base containing detailed plan and coverage information. Answers to “plain English” questions are delivered in conversational language via a graphical user interface accessed directly over the Web by members or by call center service representatives. The AnswerWise knowledgebase handles between 80% and 90% of the most frequently asked questions members have about their medical coverage and life events, the company says, adding that the information is easily configurable for each healthcare company’s unique coverage options and available plans and programs.

Using AnswerWise eliminates the need to build online databases of benefits information from scratch, says Authoria. Data changes and updates across multiple plans are executed automatically from a single edit. Standard content can be tailored using Authoria’s Web Data Manager, a Q&A authoring tool.

Authoria AnswerWise includes built-in analysis tools to gain insight on the plan preferences and buying patterns of members and employers.
