Reynolds & Reynolds releases Document Advantage
Reynolds & Reynolds (Dayton, OH) has released a suite of applications designed to automate common business practices. Document Advantage for Windows, developed by Reynolds' Dallas-based Electronic Forms Systems (EFS) group, offers individual modules containing "Assist" applications for automating business administrative functions. A Custom Electronic Forms module electronically converts and prints customized forms; information is sent into a database, which allows variable information to be entered into the system, merged with other electronic forms and then printed. A New Hire Assist module helps automate the preparation and completion of paperwork in a human resources department. The system allows for "high-level customization without repetitive, labor-intensive data entry," according to Jay Stead, group VP of marketing and business development.
