Askfor Business Solutions has introduced Datapan, a data management tool set for corporations and knowledge workers. The open information handling suite allows the collection of data from various sources and distribution to all popular formats.

Data sources that can be mined include: public internet resources, existing or legacy databases, intranets, PDF files and ASCII files. The Datapan "apples to apples" data normalization is placed into a XML feed that can be transformed to ASCII, XML, HTML, PDA-HTML, WML, PDF or Excel formats.

Datapan applications include: adding sticky content to attract users for B2C sites; easing data collection for portal vendors and researchers; adding mission-critical data to existing EIPs for B2B enterprises; empowering forces with current internal and competitive information for sales managers.
