Readsoft hires new president/CEO

Forms processing company Readsoft has appointed William Reh, general manager of U.S. operations, as its new president and CEO. Former president Mats Thunnell has left to start up U.S. operations for Gentricks, a German ICR/OCR recognition engine supplier.

Prior to joining ReadSoft Reh worked at Wheb Systems and served as executive VP at Captiva Software after the companies merged last year. Before Wheb Systems he was a regional sales manager at National Computer Systems (NCS).

Reh's "long history in the digital management field gives him a unique understanding of the market," said Jan Andersson, managing director of the ReadSoft group.

In addition to the change in executive leadership, Readsoft will be expanding both its San Diego and Chicago locations, adding a product development center in the San Diego area. Reh hinted that Readsoft will continue to reorganize internally, and that the company "will be aggressively seeking senior level personnel within the industry."
