Quiver targets IBM WebSphere

Quiver says the integration of its hybrid taxonomy and categorization application, QKS Classifier, into the IBM WebSphere Portal Server will give users an accurate and intuitive way to access the information needed to do their jobs.

Quiver further claims its portlet allows WebSphere customers to more efficiently manage the implementation, administration and management of a taxonomy within a deployment. QKS Classifier is built on open APIs, XML and is J2EE compliant, allowing for a quick and easy integration within existing information architectures, says Quiver. The directory management toolset also provides tools to help information professionals efficiently manage the taxonomy and categorization process whether addressing user permissions, system management optimization, or import/export of existing taxonomies.
