Quality counts

Hyperwave describes its new eQuality Management offering as a flexible solution to reducing a company’s quality costs. Pre-prepared content and standard product descriptions make possible the rapid introduction, application and certification of a quality management (QM) system. A content repository ensures that the QM documentation remains available and up to date. Work processes are transparent and traceable.

Hyperwave says the content repository, which is at the core of the Hyperwave eQuality Management Solution, guarantees that the flood of information can be controlled and that data are always current and successfully support the quality manager. This means quick access to information and improves the quality of currently available documents.

The company adds that although technology cannot replace customer orientation or employee motivation, suitable IT solutions relieve employees of the burden of administrative and organizational duties, thereby building the basis for successful quality management. This includes process models to automate processes and flexible storage structures that can be implemented in any organization.

Hyperwave says advantages to its approach include:

  • reduction of quality costs and optimal support of QM in daily work processes;

  • faster implementation and certification by supporting compliancy with standard requirements (ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001, ISO/TS 16949, etc.);

  • QM documentation that is available and more up to date thanks to an integrated solution--information is structured and employees can find the needed documentation more quickly with the help of customized access points; and

  • transparency and traceability in processes and tasks with the possibility of integrating suppliers, partners and customers.
