Putting the “U.S.” in Fujitsu

With the introduction of its Interstage Application Server 4.0, its business process automation product, Fujitsu Software (FS) launches a new e-business inititiative in the U.S. Initially, the company will distribute the Interstate Application Server, business process automation product through direct sales, partners and Fujitsu group channels.

FS reports its parent company, Fujitsu Limited, is the third-largest information technology products and services company in the world, with 60,000 IT support and service professionals and operations in more than 100 countries. Fujitsu is the leading application server provider in Japan, where it has more than 30% of the market.

In addition to the new Interstage server, 4.0, FS is introducing i-Flow 4.1, a new version of the 100% Java- and 100% browser-based business process automation engine. It also plans to release its QoEtient eBusiness Management Platform, a high-end service for managing e-business quality of experience on the Internet, the company says.
