Publishing power for portals

PeopleSoft and Interwoven have formed a partnership that will enable customers to develop and publish content with Interwoven's Content Infrastructure product suite and deliver it via PeopleSoft's Portal Solutions.

In addition to its customer relationship management and supply chain offerings, PeopleSoft offers pre-built portal software for secure, role-based delivery of both structured and unstructured content. The company says Content Infrastructure will permit enterprise users to more quickly and easily contribute unstructured content to their portals.

PeopleSoft is also participating in Interwoven's PortalReady Program and will uses the PortalReady software development kit to provide a development interface for facilitating rapid portal implementations.

The company has also announced an agreement that calls for integration of its Enterprise Service Automation offering with eRoom’s Digital Workplace platform. The combined solution is said to enable service organizations to optimize service business processes and conduct real-time project collaboration in a virtual workplace.
