Practicity releases new PSO software
Practicity has unveiled Version 4.0 of its Web-based solution to improve communication and manage processes for professional service organizations and their clients. The Windows NT-based software enables the creation of communities organized by client, project, practice and interest. Practicity 4.0’s role-based security also allows a service provider’s clients to contribute content, such as documents and discussion threads, within the service provider’s Web-based community.
The company says the software has been architected to capture the interaction of participants within the community, rather than just documents. Further, Practicity adds, 4.0 is built to accommodate a variety of internal and external business roles at different levels of participation, allowing members of each community to directly access, update or contribute valuable insight, content and experiences through their browser.
Practicity 4.0 contains several new and updated relationship management technologies that enable client collaboration as well as internal and external knowledge sharing. Included are:
• knowledge capture and search;
• a single, shared repository;
• automatic notification; and
• Microsoft project integration.
