Plexus Releases ImageFirst Office Version 3.0

Plexus (Sunnyvale, CA) has unveiled the newest release of its ImageFirst Office document management and workflow software. IFO Version 3.0 includes a cabinet-folder-document repository, industrial-strength RDBMS and scanner support, an optional optical subsystem for document storage and retrieval and faxing and E-mail capabilities. An optional COLD component can also be added to the base application. With its rapid deployment capabilities, IFO Version 3.0 "represents a new frontier for Plexus," said VP of Engineering Rich Hemmerling. The system runs under client/server architecture on Windows NT or on a UNIX server with Windows 95 or NT clients.
